Dr. Behnam Bohluli is internationally recognized as a leader in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Over his 20-year career, he has performed more than 4,000 major surgeries and thousands of minor oral and facial procedures. Dr. Bohluli has a particular interest in managing complex surgical cases, as he believes that a successful, comprehensive procedure is essential to achieving a patient’s goals.

In addition to his busy clinical practice, Dr. Bohluli is deeply involved in academia and scientific research. He has frequently lectured at international conferences, and his scientific work has resulted in 44 publications in major surgical journals and 40 book chapters that are commonly referenced in the field. Furthermore, he serves as a reviewer for many high-ranking surgical journals and has recently edited and co-edited three major textbooks in this field.

Dr. Bohluli has had the opportunity to teach at the University of Toronto over the past seven years, which has allowed him to become well-versed in North American perspectives on surgical concepts. Additionally, he holds certifications from three prestigious North American boards: the American Board of Facial Cosmetic Surgery, the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the Canadian Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
